The Healing Power of Amethyst

The purple Amethyst is legendary for its grand ability to stimulate, soothe, and inspire! It’s sometimes called the “All Healer” stone as you can use Amethyst for physical healing of the nervous, circulatory, digestive, endocrine, immune & respiratory systems. Emotional healing, curing of nightmares & insomnia, spiritual healing, and also to heal, harmonize, and stimulate the Crown and Third Eye Chakra, are even more reasons why people migrate to this particular powerhouse of a crystal. Along with Clear Quartz, Amethyst is also sometimes called the ‘Soul Stone’ and is simply one of the strongest and most powerful crystals to use in your meditation practice. It’s this crystal that instills a calm meditative state bringing clear thought and a deeper understanding of the powers of the universe. My favorite way to meditate with an Amethyst is to sit in a quiet place holding the crystal in my hand, deep breathing for a few minutes. And then with my mind’s eye, I internally place it in my heart center, visualize this violet powerhouse there, and wait just a short few seconds before I can literally ‘feel’ the calming effect of this crystal within my body. I then imagine the stones violet rays, filled with these peaceful and calm feelings, oscillate throughout my entire body. At a certain point my body is completely filled with these violet rays, and they begin to extend out through my crown and physically wrap my entire body in this protective bubble of what feels like love energy to me. Try this for yourself sometime and sit with these feelings of well-being for as long as feels good to you. It’s a magical treat for yourself!
